Tintin

When I was a kid, I read all the Tintin books. The entrepid reporter that travelled the world and always got to the bottom of every case, was a great hero. Now it seems Belgium is to celebrate its most famous citizen.

Comic book hero Tintin is celebrated this week in a four-day festival to be held in the Belgian capital Brussels.

Which when you consider what is done to intrepid reporters in Brussels nowadays, is a little surreal.
