Keeping You Safe

The European court of justice (or European court of Integration) has agreed with the EU’s directive on Vitamins and Supplements.
New EU regulations restricting the sale of vitamin and mineral pills will come into force next month following a ruling from the European court of justice yesterday.
Now all new supplements will have to go through a similar process to medicines, despite the fact that they are mostly derived from vegetable extracts and other plants that we consume. The purpose is to protect the consumer, but is more likely to end up protecting incumbents from competition.
