The Dead Liberal Consensus

Its not that I necessarily agree with them, but the addition of arch conservative catholic politicians from Poland has changed the debate in the EU for the better.
"New groups have come in from Poland, the Czech Republic, Latvia, and Catholicism is certainly becoming a very angry voice against what it sees as a liberal EU,"
Which is of course shocking for the Socialist Federasts, who find it hard to believe that anyone can think differently to them. They believe fervently in diversity as long as it’s not diversity of opinion.
Since the election in October of President Lech Kaczynski, a conservative defender of family values and a critic of abortion and homosexuality, concerns are being voiced that, on social policy at least, Poland is on a collision course with Brussels.
Excellent. Maybe we can get it into a few thick heads that one size fits all is as useless in politics as it was in T Shirts. In addition, if the bastards that want to control our lives are fighting with the Poles over social issues, they will have less time for other things.
