Davis On Tax & Spend

As a David Davis supporter, I wanted to bring your attention to a great article about why Davis's policies on tax and spending are the right way to go.

He's committing himself to a budget rule, Reform's "Growth Rule", which calls for the growth of public spending to be set below that of trend GDP.

So spending as a percent of GDP will fall over time. Its a great way to credibly promise tax cuts and spending efficiencies, without going into too much detail 4 years prior to an election.
