What the Chinese Think

One good outcome of the Bra Wars, is that the Communist China is increasingly sounding like Adam Smith has taken the place of Karl Marx.
"This trade fiasco demonstrates that protective measures, at best, are zero-sum games for those who resort to them," the official China Daily newspaper said on Wednesday.
Pot, Kettle and Black come to mind, but at least they are questioning protectionism in the official press. In a statement which was aimed at the ears of Boeing and Airbus management, they followed with this statement:
Developed countries should focus on selling higher-tech goods such as airliners and not try to block China's exports of low-cost items like socks and underwear.
Comparative Advantage anyone?
