Back to The Lira

It seems that some in Italy want their Lira back.

Welfare Minister Roberto Maroni breaks a taboo of the government and proposes to leave the euro and go back to the old lira.

I expect the Germans to want the Mark back, but I didn't realise that the situation in the Eurozone was that desperate.
