One Socialist Anachronism Supports Another.

That great man of the people has done well in elections in Venezuela and the EU is applauding.

Europe Union mission chief Jose Albino Silva said audits showed vote results and voting machines were "clearly reliable”.

Which is a first step I suppose. It is obviously not enough though, as others pointed out.

The Organisation of American States, which also sent observers to Venezuela, echoed the EU while criticizing election law inconsistencies, campaigning by government officials and abuse of state funds.

So everything else about the elections were fraudulent but never mind the machines worked.
