Go On, I dare You
Poland is very unhappy. That nice Mr Blair is proving less generous this Christmas that they wanted. So what are they planning to do?
Poland Wednesday uttered an angry outcry and threatened to veto the British-proposed 2007-13 EU budget, soon after London unveiled a new version the same day. Polish President Lech Kaczynski dismissed the offer as "not adequate." "In my opinion, the offer is not adequate," he said.
To whish the average British Voter would say: What do I care. Veto it. As net contributors we have nothing to lose from a Budget of Zero Euros. That said I would prefer it if we pushed France into a corner and got them to Veto it.
