Good Priorities

What to do with those Germans. They have a huge work load to reform their economy and solve its many problems. But what are the Grand Coalition partners discussing?
The new German government plans to use its 2007 presidency of the EU to revive the ratification of the EU constitution, according to a coalition deal struck on Friday (11 November).
Good sense of priorities or what. Ignore the fact that most of the constitution will have been passed by stealth before that, here is an issue of no value compared to say unemployment. It is also an issue that they cannot resolve on their own. So IMHO, the new German Government wants to look busy without actually doing anything. That should work.
