Wonderland

Just to underline the surrealness of the EU Parliament, we have the Sakharov awards.

The European Parliament could not choose this year between the three short-listed candidates for the Sakharov prize for free speech, appointing them all as winners on Wednesday.

This more or less describes the problems of the EU in one short sentence. No-one is allowed to do better than anyone else in this Socialist Wonderland. All have won and must get prizes......
