Free Movement

Within sensible limits of course, I am a supporter of free movement of workers. It is one of the few really positive things that the EU promotes. It is interesting to see therefore that membership of the EU is not a necessary condition, to benefit from a larger pool of workers.
Swiss voters approved a measure to open the labour market to more workers from the 10 new European Union member states.
Wouldn’t it be nice to be like Switzerland and treat the EU like an open buffet and not a fixed menu?
