We are used to Tony Blair & Gordon Brown boasting about the UK’s success versus our neighbours. Now “Honest” David Blunkett is getting in on the act.

What the randy old goat fails to realise, is that the British Government has actually been following the European example. After all, the new jobs are all in the unproductive state sector whilst the private sector creaks under the strain of the Scottish Raj’s assault. The Europeans (especially France) have gone further down this road and are starting to understand that it doesn’t work. Our success is due to the fact that we are not so far down this no-through road.
