Take Two Years

In fact take as long as you like, but I don’t think the French or Dutch public will look very kindly on your suggestion.
The European Union should take two years to reflect on why French and Dutch voters rejected the bloc's constitution and then make a fresh attempt to ratify it, Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel told a German newspaper.
Why not change the order of the referenda next time, let the UK go first. Then you can have another two years reflection on losing that one.
