Someone Forgot to tell the Voters

The constitution was drawn up with the specific purpose of connecting with the people of Europe.
"Within the union, the European institutions must be brought closer to its citizens. Citizens undoubtedly support the union's broad aims, but they do not always see a connection between those goals and the union's everyday action.
So they wrote 350 pages of indecipherable rubbish and then got surprised when the people rejected it. What do they teach in these elite schools?
