Stay at Home Poles

Apparently Poles have become less interested in moving abroad than they were prior to EU accession.
Eighteen percent of Poles surveyed said they would travel to the EU to look for work before their country joined the bloc, and 14 percent said they would take up a job offer in the EU. Nearly one year later, the proportion who said they would leave Poland to go to another EU member state to seek work has dropped to 14 percent and those who would accept a job offer in another EU country to six percent.
According to your bias, this could mean one of a number of things. Please leave your answer in the comments:
  1. Joining the EU has made Poland a far better place.
  2. Poles have finally realised that EU countries are not all they are cracked up to be.
  3. All the ones that wanted to leave have already done so.
  4. All of the above.
The interesting thing is that only Britain, Ireland and Sweden opened their doors to potential immigrants and yet most seem to have gone to Germany. They must be all single person meatpacking companies.
