Fragrant Margot’s Freedom of Information

Margot Wallstrom, otherwise known as the EU’s minister of Propaganda, promised to bring more openness to the workings of the EU. Her famous blog being a personalised touch to this policy. Danish MEP Jens-Peter Bonde is of the opinion that she is backsliding.
I wrote five precise points on what the Commission should be ready to deliver. Now, I've got the answers from Wallström, and it is not encouraging reading. The Commission has about 3000 secret working groups. The list is now made public. But we can still not get the list of the members in the working groups. Only the chairmen of the committees will have the access to collect information on the members in a certain committee. Ordinary members don't have this right.
3.000 groups working on who knows what and we are not allowed, sorry even MEP’s are not allowed, to know who these people are and what they are doing. How important are these groups?
Today, 85 % of all rules are adopted in 300 secret working groups under the Minister Council.
So our representatives in the heart of the evil empire are being kept in the dark about the workings of the politburo. This is our bright European Future.
