Europe’s Future Secure

Judging by a new report commissioned by the CIA, the European Union has a secure and prosperous future. The people who never saw the fall of the USSR coming, and told us the Saddam had nukes buried under the patio are worried about the future of Europe.

In a devastating indictment of EU economic prospects the report warns: "The current EU welfare state is unsustainable and the lack of any economic revitalisation could lead to the splintering or, at worst, disintegration of the EU, undermining its ambitions to play a heavyweight international role."

We have been saying the same thing for years, but now we are joined in our conclusions by the CIA, we must take a closer look at our assumptions. We have either been mistaken or the reforms under way in the CIA must be taking effect.
