Biased BBC

Typically from the BBC we have another case of soft bias in its EU reporting.
The EU treaty aims to make the bloc more efficient following its expansion to 25 nations in May 2004, but it has met resistance in several countries.
If one knew nothing about the topic, you would be surprised that such a sensible idea could meet with resistance. Even adding “where the treaty is seen as further erosion of national sovereignty” would have changed the sentence completely. At least you would understand why these hard to please troublemakers might be against the treaty. The sentence would then give both sides of the argument as well as a single sentence could without agreeing with either of them. Personally, I am even against the EU becoming more efficient, because their output is regulations. More efficiency means more regulations, so efficiency is a bad idea.
