In a spirit of community and partnership, our 24 partners in Europe have come up with a solution to the current crisis.

European leaders lined up behind a plot to ambush Tony Blair yesterday, threatening to blame him for the spiralling European Union crisis unless Britain "saves Europe" by surrendering its multi-billion pound annual rebate.

So we have been called on to save Europe. Does it not seem strange that the "Crisis" was cause by a French Referendum, and yet the British are being called on to put things right? Wouldn't a reduction in CAP be more correct, seeing as France is such a big recipient? Don't let anyone tell you that the EU is not a conspiracy by France against Britain.
