Inhuman

What would be your definition of inhuman? To the EU, executing a person who has raped, murdered and otherwise wasted innocent life, is the height of inhumanity. To me, it seems like the logical thing to do.

On the other hand, putting the political power of farming lobbies before the welfare of the world's poorest and most vulnerable people. That is what I would call inhumane.

It seems reasonable to regard the life of a defenceless child as more worthy than an evil taker of life. But then I am not as wise as the Eurocrats that rule our lives, so what would I know?

As usual, you're right and this sort of thing brought to light makes me quietly apoplectic, in a Prodicus sort of way. I'm actually going to do this as the blog-theme on Sunday.

I'ts very true that the death penalty serves no useful service to society.

It is also true that it brutalises society.

Look what it has done to you Serf and we in GREAT britain don't have it.

You love it anywhere and in any country.

Some of my skinhead mates can drink and fight for England. In fact, the more they drink, the more they can fight for England.

At the end of the night when it's chucking out time, they WANT and often do fight!

What do you reckon that their view is of the death penalty?

Personally, I remain within the human race (as defined by all true and responsible Brits)and refuse to be lowered.
If Dave tries this one, he's finished.

Give up Serf.

Typical, Mr Elsby fails to tackle the issue in hand.

I can agree to disagree on the death penalty. But CAP is killing poor people and that is an inescapable fact. Which makes the EU a bunch of hypocrites.

If I hear Bob Geldof agree with the death penalty, then I will think again of your link to it and starving children in Africa.

I'm happy to condemn all and everyone for what is happening in Africa but I tend not to accept political links between two subjects, unless of course there is a definite link.

Forgive me, but I just can't see one.
