EPP Divorce Back On

I'm getting dizzy from all this.

The Tories said that they will press ahead with plans to quit the main centre-right block in Europe to form a breakaway group, despite a probable split among the party’s MEPs.
Good news, I suppose. Until the next twist in the story maybe.

Don't be blaming me!

I think it would be helpful if our MEPs met David Cameron to discuss this, I understand this has not happened, and it must be a very worrying situation for them.

David Cameron made a commitment during the leadership contest to leave the EPP. It's more a test of the man than it is a judgement about the merits or otherwise of the EPP.

ConservativeHome were at their best again by breaking the news and consequently making the news.

And popping over here has reminded me, I haven't been doing any EU bashing on my blog. I feel ashamed and humbled in equal measures, serf.
