Tax Independence

A story that has been around for a long time and is coming to a climax, the M&S tax issue is an interesting one. We will soon know the ending.
After five years of legal wrangling, the ECJ is due to pronounce its final ruling on the case on Tuesday.
In the Blue Corner, we have the EU and the concept of supranational rules, but in the Red Corner we have the most irresponsible Chancellor of the exchequer ever. Whom is one supposed to support?
GORDON Brown is facing the prospect of seeing billions of pounds drained from the Treasury's coffers this week due to a landmark ruling from the European Court of Justice on a Marks & Spencer tax complaint.
I mean, I think that tax policy should be controlled and implemented by the British Government at Westminster, but the prospect of Gordon losing any kind of battle over his ability to screw us is mouth watering.
