WTO Blackmail

The EU, regarded as the biggest problem in the WTO talks, is blaming everyone else.

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said on Sunday there would be no new world trade agreement at a summit in Hong Kong next month unless the United States and Brazil compromised.

Presumably because he feels that the EU’s worthless offers are in fact real concessions? Also of course because certain countries will not allow any real changes in our joint stance.

France has threatened to block any deal with which it is not happy.

Miserable gits that they are, we all know what a serious threat that is.
