Sensible Bill

I've noticed this a little late, but I wanted to share it with you. A Conservative MP by the name of Owen Patterson is trying to get an eminently sensible private members bill in front of the house.
European Communities Act 1972 (Disapplication) Bill A Bill To Provide that Community treaties, Community instruments and Community obligations shall only be binding in legal proceedings in the United Kingdom insofar as they do not conflict with a subsequent, expressly inconsistent enactment of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
It would in effect restore the sovereignty of Parliament. Of course it has no chance of getting considered let alone being passed into Law. Good on Mr Patterson for trying though. Perhaps we should contact him an lend our support.
