Stop the presses; Mandy is one again talking through his rear end. On the proposals for cuts in tariffs:

The EU has offered tariff cuts in every product, even where it hurts us the most. Given this, and the erosion of existing preferential access these cuts will bring in ACP countries, it is unacceptably glib to dismiss them as unambitious.

Just a little point esteemed commissioner, cutting tariffs doesn’t hurt us at all, so your whole argument is wrong. Keeping tariffs hurts us. So get rid of them all.
