David Cameron's pledge

I have heard an unconfirmed rumour that David Cameron is going back on his pledge to leave the EPP. It is said that the decision would now be a matter for the new Shadow Foreign Secretary. If true, it would confirm my belief that its better to back the candidate that is closest to sharing your beliefs, rather than the one that makes the boldest promises.
