Germany's Clever Unions

The BBC as part of its coverage of the German Election has an article about Grohe, and a plan to move production to China. In a totally fawning way, the BBC talks up the clever union that saved German jobs. Nowhere is it even suggested (a very mainstream opinion) that the unions are responsible for German unemployment in the first place. Unions are nothing more than a legalised form of Blackmail. The sooner German gets a government that is prepared to take them on the better for all of us.
