Our Core Competence

The EU still wants to talk to Iran.
The European Union has expressed its "deep concern" over Iran's resumption of activity at the uranium conversion facility in Isfahan but said the door remains open for negotiations.
Hello??? They are now continuing there nuclear programme, you know the one that talks were supposed to stop. It seems that the EU’s foreign policy competence is continuing negotiations with counter parties who are acting in bad faith, and never giving up on them. To what end? To make sure that no-one else succeeds? Who knows. One thing that I am sure of is this. The EU has nothing constructive to add to any of the world’s major problems.
