According to The Scotman, Mandy could be doing us all a favour.

PETER MANDELSON, EU Trade Commissioner, is in danger of pulling off the political coup of the last half century: he's possibly going to be responsible for the ordinary people of Europe realising the ludicrous extent of the EU's ineffectiveness and inefficiency.
