No Flying for Chavs

The proposed new No Flying for Chavs directive is gaining support from an interesting quarter.
The proposal has the backing of the British European Union presidency and is accepted by some leading airlines, including British Airways.
British Airways is of course aware that the impact on Chav carriers such as Easy Jet and Ryanair will more than make up for any effect on its business. Rather than stating the true aim of this directive the EU is claiming that it is in some way about the environment. Its true aim is to stop the great unwashed taking advantage of the free movement of people, so as not to bring the idea into disrepute.
