EU to Squash Internet TV

In the wake of Pod casting, we can maybe expect that TV will become open to all. The internet is already being used for all kinds of TV type broadcasts and downloads. To stop this happening, the EU wants to regulate internet TV.

Brussels is considering regulating areas such as taste and decency, accuracy and impartiality for internet broadcasters.

If they are successful, it will destroy the future of television. I am sure that the major media companies are lobbying hard in favour.
