Lock the Back Door

What is more important, years of committee bargaining or the will of the people? I think you can probably guess the answer.
Mr Straw raised fears that the EU might seek to reintroduce the constitution's provisions by the "back door" when he said there were some "sensible" provisions that could be rescued and implemented.
Who could complain after all they are sensible provisions? Funny though, that’s also what they said about the entire treaty. I suggest a strong bolt on the back door. You never know when Jack Straw might try to smuggle in parts of the treaty unnoticed.
