Social Protectionism

Not everyone is happy with the resistance to the liberalising of services:
The man widely expected to become Poland's next prime minister has issued a stinging rebuke to France and Germany over European policy. He said it was a "scandal" that European Commission plans to liberalize services were being blocked by France and Germany.
Poland is definitely shaping up to be a very positive force in the EU. He goes on to say:
"If we don't manage to create a coalition to fight against this social protectionism, then there might be an impression that the entire EU will rather contract than develop,"
The only thing that he needs correcting on, is that impression thing. We all know that Old Europe cares nothing about development and is quite happy with decline.
