Brussels, We Don’t Want Your Money

In a somewhat unusual step for a government trying to protect a £7 Billion rebate, Our Dear Leader is asking for the EU not to spend money in the UK.

The Government yesterday urged the European Parliament not to spend any public money explaining the proposed European constitution to British voters, saying the parliament's plans for an "information campaign" in the United Kingdom would be "entirely counter productive and inappropriate".

Of course the Government is not saying that they will not spend lots of our money on Propaganda, they are just scared of the campaign being tainted. Also £86.000 was not a realistic number. Gordon Brown would not get out of bed for that.
